Rubix Cube Themed Party - Unique Party Theme Ideas

Driving to work this morning I think I heard the most unique and fun filled party idea that I had heard in a very long time…the rubix cube themed party. I got me thinking just how wonderful this classic toy could set the scene for a fantastic event that is sure to be full of laughter and fun and here is some ideas I came up with to make the event one to remember.

DRESS
The point of this party is to have everyone come dressed with clothing in every colour of the rubix cube – white, orange, green, blue, yellow and red. By the end of the night, guests have to swap clothing so they end up fully dressed in the colour of their choice from the rubix cube!

DECORATIONS
How fun would it be to create almost an atmosphere of colours, working in of course on the traditional sqaure look of the rubix cube itself.

FOOD & DRINK
Think about setting up unique areas for each colour so once someone has decided which colour they are going to morph into throughout the night, they can coordinate themselves with matching food and drinks as well! Oh and dont forget to make the rubix cube cake for dessert!

GAMES
You cannot go past the rubix cube race to solve the cube. Simply have a few rubix cubes available and time each person as to how long they take to solve this fun puzzle game.

BOMBONIERES & FAVORS
Form an awesome centrepiece for your party but setting up your own rubix cube tower using boxes about 5cm square in size. Fill each one with matching coloured lollies and chocolates for each guest to take home at the end of the night. Of course you can use bigger boxes to make a bigger rubix cube!
